1. Introduction
Welcome to Klinr ("Klinr," "we," "our," or "us"). Klinr operates an online marketplace platform available at www.goklinr.com and via our mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"), which connects individuals or businesses seeking professional services ("Clients") with independent contractors who provide those services ("Service Providers").
Klinr facilitates a wide range of on-demand services including home cleaning, lawn care, pet sitting, in-home chef services, laundry & ironing, car wash & detailing, Airbnb cleaning, and more — all bookable through a single platform.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" — www.goklinr.com, our mobile apps, and all related technology.
- "Services" — professional services booked through the Platform (cleaning, lawn care, pet sitting, chef services, car detailing, etc.).
- "Platform Services" — Klinr's role in connecting Clients with Service Providers, processing payments, and managing accounts.
- "Client" — any user booking or attempting to book services through the Platform.
- "Service Provider" — any independent professional offering services on Klinr.
- "Booking" — a confirmed request for Services through the Platform.
- "User" — any visitor, Client, or Service Provider using the Platform.
3. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and use the Platform only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. Klinr may deny access at its discretion without notice.
4. Account Registration
Users must create an account to book or provide services on Klinr. When registering you agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain the security of your credentials, notify Klinr of any unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Klinr reserves the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at its discretion.
5. The Platform — Marketplace Role
Klinr is a technology marketplace. We are not a cleaning company, staffing agency, or direct provider of any services on the Platform. Service Providers are independent contractors solely responsible for the quality and delivery of their services.
Klinr's role is limited to: providing technology to connect Clients and Service Providers; facilitating bookings, payments, and communications; screening Service Providers for background checks where applicable; and resolving disputes between Users where possible.
6. For Clients
Booking Services
Clients may browse available Service Providers, view pricing, and book services directly through the Platform. All bookings are subject to Service Provider availability and confirmation.
Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate service location and access instructions;
- Ensure a safe working environment for Service Providers;
- Be present or provide access at the scheduled time, or provide advance notice;
- Treat Service Providers with respect and professionalism;
- Report any issues within 24 hours of service completion.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a completed service, contact Klinr support within 24 hours with details and, where applicable, photos. We will work to resolve the issue at our discretion, which may include a partial refund, re-service, or platform credit.
7. For Service Providers
Independent Contractor Status
Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Klinr. You are solely responsible for your taxes, insurance, tools, equipment, and compliance with applicable laws.
Service Provider Obligations
- Maintain accurate availability and service listings;
- Arrive on time and deliver services as described;
- Hold all required licenses and certifications for offered services;
- Maintain professional conduct with Clients at all times;
- Not solicit Clients outside the Platform to bypass Klinr's fee structure.
Background Checks
Klinr may require background checks and identity verification. Passing a background check does not constitute an employment guarantee or endorsement of fitness for all tasks.
Earnings & Payouts
Service Providers receive weekly direct deposits via Stripe. Klinr deducts a platform fee from each booking. Current fee schedules are available in the Provider dashboard.
8. Payments & Fees
All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Clients are charged at booking or upon service completion as described during checkout. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Klinr reserves the right to modify pricing structures with reasonable notice.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Client Cancellations
- 24+ hours before scheduled service: full refund;
- Less than 24 hours before: partial refund or credit at Klinr's discretion;
- No-shows (Client fails to provide access): no refund.
Provider Cancellations
If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking, the Client receives a full refund. Klinr will attempt to find a replacement. Frequent provider cancellations may result in account suspension.
Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
10. Prohibited Conduct
All Users agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; post false or fraudulent information; harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other Users; circumvent Klinr's platform by transacting directly with Users met through Klinr; use automated tools or scrapers; interfere with Platform security; or engage in activity that damages Klinr's reputation. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
11. Ratings & Reviews
Both Clients and Service Providers may leave ratings and reviews after a completed service. By submitting a review you confirm it reflects your genuine experience, does not contain false or inappropriate content, and may be publicly displayed. Klinr reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content policies.
12. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. KLINR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY SERVICE PROVIDER WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. KLINR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, OR CONDUCT OF ANY USER.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLINR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY USER, OR ANY SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
In no event shall Klinr's total liability exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid Klinr in the 3 months preceding the claim or (ii) $100 USD.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Klinr and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your interactions with other Users, your violation of these Terms, or your negligent or intentional misconduct.
15. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, code, content, and media on the Platform belong to Klinr or its licensors. Users may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without prior written permission. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Klinr a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content for Platform operations and marketing.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is governed by Klinr's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
17. Account Termination
Klinr may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, unsafe or abusive behavior, non-payment or fraudulent payment activity, repeated poor service quality (Service Providers), or attempts to transact off-platform. Users may close their account at any time by contacting support. Outstanding payment obligations survive account closure.
18. Modification of Terms
Klinr may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by mandatory binding arbitration and with waiver of class actions — all claims must be brought individually.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Klinr regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
