Stripe as an Independent Controller

In many cases, Klinr and Stripe each act as independent controllers of Personal Data processed in connection with Stripe services. Stripe processes Personal Data in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.

What Financial Connections May Collect

If you choose to connect a bank account through Financial Connections, Stripe may collect and process account owner information, balances, account numbers/details, and transaction information as made available by your financial institution and authorized by you.

How Klinr Uses Financial Connections Data

To the extent Klinr receives Financial Connections data, we may use it to confirm and verify payment accounts, reduce fraud and unauthorized activity, facilitate payouts to Service Providers, and comply with legal obligations.

Disconnecting Your Bank Account

You may disconnect a linked bank account through the Stripe interface or your account settings where available. If you disconnect, Stripe may stop ongoing collection of that account data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell Personal Data. We may share Personal Data in the following circumstances:

  • Protect rights, property, and safety of Klinr, our Users, or others;
  • Detect/prevent fraud or security issues.

D. Business Transfers

If Klinr is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

8. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, maintain business records (payments, disputes, compliance), meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary by data type, context, and legal requirements. We may retain aggregated/de-identified information for longer periods.
